Mementos

For this series, titled “Mementos,” I photograph objects in found contexts restructured through the lens but always captured as is. Nonetheless, in my photographs I also aim to construct a dissonance between structure and theme. This creates ambiguity—not by manipulating the physical world but by manipulating the point of view. This, in turn, is meant to dialogue with—and to disturb—the expectations of the viewer.
